Groups discussion on integrating "making" into the classroom. Teachers are encouraged to have in-depth discussion on salient issues for their schools and school districts. Be sure to discuss advantages, disadvantages, barriers, resources, etc.
Key Questions for Discussion:
- Based upon what you have heard today, suggest how making, inventing or DIY activities can be implemented in your classroom/school/district in the 2014-2015 academic year?
- How can the USPTO's Office of Education and Outreach help foster innnovation and Intellectual Property concepts in the classroom?
- Discuss the barriers, challenges and opportunities.
