Taking It to the Classroom: Inventing, Making and Doing-It-Yourself

Groups discussion on integrating "making" into the classroom. Teachers are encouraged to have in-depth discussion on salient issues for their schools and school districts. Be sure to discuss advantages, disadvantages, barriers, resources, etc. 


 Key Questions for Discussion:
  1. Based upon what you have heard today, suggest how making, inventing or DIY activities can be implemented in your classroom/school/district in the 2014-2015 academic year?
  2. How can the USPTO's Office of Education and Outreach help foster innnovation and Intellectual Property concepts in the classroom?
  3. Discuss the barriers, challenges and opportunities.

Expectations for Wednesday's Final Presentation
