Lana Pham is a Trademark Examining Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. She joined the USPTO 14 years ago. Carlos Ortiz-Rodriguez, Primary Patent Examiner and Detailee, Office of Education and Outreach, USPTO

Carlos Ortiz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 2002 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Since graduation he has worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a primary patent examiner. Carlos now works in the Office of Education and Outreach developing educational materials focused on innovation and intellectual property for K-12. He is instrumental in encouraging students to pursue STEM degrees.
